Biography
Dr Rohan Nair is an experienced Radiation Oncologist with a passion for education, clinical trials, and advanced cancer care. He completed his MBChB in Scotland and undertook specialist radiation oncology training in Victoria. He completed a clinical and research fellowship in stereotactic radiotherapy (SABR) at Alfred Health, with a focus on neuro-oncology and thoracic cancers through multidisciplinary care and clinical trials.
Dr Nair has led radiation oncology research programs and multidisciplinary care teams in Gippsland and continues to maintain a strong passion for education and academia. He is active in global collaborations and is mentored by Professor Simon Lo, a renowned SABR expert from the University of Washington, Seattle.
He speaks fluent English and Malay and treats a range of solid tumour malignancies, with a special interest in upper and lower gastrointestinal cancer, breast cancer, genitourinary cancer, thoracic malignancies, skin cancer and tumours of the central nervous system.
