Biography
Dr David Blakey is a highly experienced Radiation Oncologist with over 30 years of clinical practice. He completed his medical degree at the University of Melbourne and specialist training at the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre, becoming a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists in 1995.
David has held senior clinical and leadership roles across both public and private sectors, with a strong focus on service development, clinical governance, medical education, and the introduction of new radiotherapy techniques.
David accepts referrals for all tumour types and has special clinical interests in prostate cancer, stereotactic radiation therapy, breast, lung and skin cancers. He is committed to delivering evidence-based, personalised care using the latest radiation therapy techniques, and is very much looking forward to being able to offer patients treatment on the CyberKnife platform.
